Returning from Spring Break...here we are. Next week is CRCT testing therefore this week is a prep week for the test. Students practiced with predicate adjectives and predicate nouns. We discussed sensory details and figurative language in writing including metaphors, similes and hyperboles. Students wrote their examples of each and then they did some reading and some CRCT practice involving these.
