6th: Today was Mr. H's teaching day. We...made sure we had all of our research questions written down on our KWL chart and then we reviewed how to set-up index cards for notetaking and then...we went to the library to begin our research!
Homework: Read and record.
7th: Today we began class by checking the homework- cultural revolution book project posters. Then, we did a PALS activity- paragraph shrinking- and then we met in jig-saw groups to teach each other about our books. We came back together to discuss- what were some of the common experiences that the characters in our books had living under Mao? We had a good discussion about this.
