Ms. Cassaro continues to teach. Today, we practiced with this week's vocab and grammar. Then, students began to think about trade relations between the U.S. and Canada. Students did a pre-reading carousel activity to brainstorm what they knew about trade and about about the United States' relationship with Canada. Then, they read an article about trade relations between the U.S. and Canada, defining import, export, trade barriers, NAFTA and currency. After reading, students processed what they learned from the article and how it applied to their current understanding of diplomacy between these two countries.
