Today in Humanities we finished up the final rounds of the geography bee to determine the class winners. Congratulations to the following students who will compete in the schoolwide geography bee on Friday, January 9th:
1. Kheonthe Odias (6B winner)
2. Connor Bayliss (6B runner up)
3. Korey Silas (6A winner)
4. Sam Jessup (6A runner up)
Then, we worked on some more quickwrites and students had the chance to further develop their quickwrites, if they chose to do so. Other students finished their writing/art pieces for the Holocaust contest or prepared a piece of writing for tomorrow's "open mic" share session.
Homework: Bring a piece of writing that you are proud of for tomorrow's open mic session. Miss Devine and Miss Ramsey's advisory reminder: bring in candy for the gingerbread house competition tomorrow.
