Today in Humanities, Miss Devine collected pen pal letters. Students have until Friday to turn these in. Then, we divided the class into two groups- those who worked on presentation planning yesterday and those who worked on report planning yesterday. Those students who worked on report planning were with Miss Devine, writing their rough draft of the report using the guidelines from the rubric distributed in class. Those students who worked on presentation planning worked with Ms. Gardner, our special guest, on "getting into character," using the presentation rubric distributed in class. Later, the presentation planners created a rough draft of how their presentation would appear to the audience and the report planners turned in the first draft of their report.
Students are reminded that final European Up-stander projects (including project board, report and rehearsed presentation) are to be completed by next Wednesday, December 10th. Students will be presenting in class as well as at Humanities Night from 6:30-8pm that evening.
Homework: Pen pal letters due Friday. Complete rough draft of report or presentation plans if you did not do so in class.
