Today, we did some quickwrites, or short writing responses based on prompts (poems or stories) that Miss Devine read. Tomorrow, we'll work on some more quickwrites and talk about how we can expand these short writings to create a complete piece of writing. Thursday will be "open mic day," a day for students to bring in any work that they have written throughout the course of the year and feel especially proud of, to share with the class.
We did the first part of the Geography Bee today and we will complete the second half tomorrow to determine a class winner for the school bee.

No homework. Be on the lookout for progress reports as they will emailed home today. World geography part of the bee is tomorrow- so quiz yourself with whatever you can to be prepared!
