Today in Humanities, students wrote letters to their parents/guardians informing them about ACMS Humanities Night and inviting them to the event, which will be held next Wednesday, December 10th from 6:30 to 8pm here at school. 6th, 7th and 8th grade students will be displaying work that they have done in both Language Arts and Social Studies classes. Our class will be presenting our projects on up-standers in European history. Letters will be mailed to houses today.
Then, students met in their project groups to finalize their board plans and to plan out the materials they are bringing to work on these boards tomorrow in class.
Homework: Pen pal letters are due Friday. Report typers must type their group's report by Friday. Students need to bring in any materials that they need to work on the project boards tomorrow.
