"Irreplaceable"

Today in Humanities, students received new Root Vocabulary words for the week. These words are:

il, ir= not
1. illegible-adj- not capable of being read or deciphered
2. illiterate-adj- unable to read or write
3. illogical-adj- not making any sense
4. illegitimate-adj- not sanctioned by law, illegal
5. irregular-adj- lacking perfect symmetry or evenness
6. irrelevant-adj- not relevant, something that does not apply
7. irrational-adj- without reason or understanding
8. irreplaceable-adj- unable to be replaced

Then, students were given time to plan their presentations and practice them. Tomorrow is a dress rehearsal for presentations therefore students should come with all materials necessary to present in class (costumes, props, etc.).

Homework: Prepare for presentation. Do vocabulary pictures. Do reading response and count up your reading pages for the past 3 weeks. Everyone should get a 100 for super reading!
