Today in Humanities, students took their vocab/spelling quiz over their IR/IL words. Then, we passed out graded work, including project grades. Students selected pieces of their best work to add to their class portfolios.
Tomorrow we will be having the class preliminary round for the school Geography Bee. Today in class, students used atlases to complete a Geography Scavenger Hunt and we went over the answers in class. Students can further prepare for the Geography Bee tonight by asking family members to quiz them with any geography facts about the 50 states or countries of the world.
Homework: Reading responses due tomorrow. Students need to do these tonight and bring them to class along with their calculated reading pages for the week.
