Welcome back from Thanksgiving break! I hope everyone had an enjoyable and restful break.
Today in Humanities, students received their pen pal letters from Honduras and it was very exciting. We read several of these aloud in class and shared the pictures and gifts that we received as well. Students who received letters have a pen pal letter response due this Friday. Students will likely receive letters back from their pen pals again after Christmas break.
Groups then organized their groupwork materials in a folder. Each group folder should now contain: a bag of index cards with notes, the bibliography, the project board plans, and the plans for developing the character.
In class, the bibliography collector and the report typer worked on planning the report. The role player and the presentation leader worked on the character development sheets. Any of this work that was not completed in class is for homework.
Homework: Work on pen pal letter- due Friday. Work on any report plans or character development plans that were not completed in class.
